Dear friends,
Finally, the special initiative of Monmanchitra, “Translated Bengali Poetry,” titled Alluvium July 2024, has been published today. Primarily, our tendency is to translate foreign literature into Bengali . Certainly, it has its utility. We chose Bengali poetry for regular translation efforts. However, no matter how sincere our efforts, we faced significant challenges in obtaining translated poetry. Many could not submit their writings as promised.
The collection is curated with the poems of eleven poets. We hope you will enjoy it. You are invited to click on the links of the poets’ names to read.
